Karine Keokongchack, Registered Clinical Counsellor

A little about me

I have a real passion for life. I believe it is a rich journey in all that we come to be, to create, and to love.
My own work has been supported through therapy, self-care, strong friendships, and patience with my own growth. I have walked through some big losses- of relationships, family members, and dreams. I value the beautiful, soul expanding, and challenging process of being in a partnership.
I am on the journey of always continuing to learn and grow.  I live with hopefulness, joy, and openness to beauty in the world around me; and see the beauty in others. This perspective allows me to easily find qualities of goodness and strength in each client I work with.
I have been shaped by the honour and joy of working with family caregivers for 10 years, coordinating a local caregiver support program. I value the caregiving role and it was a privilege to witness caregivers' stories of hope, discovery, self-learning, deep love, and perseverance through times of challenge, uncertainty, and sorrow.

I look forward to hearing YOUR story. Our work together will release tension and anxiety, allowing your dreams to become accessible, as you gain a fuller awareness of your own strengths and vulnerabilities. -Karine

“Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

-Brene Brown
